Norman Rockwell's Four Freedom Series from 1943's The Saturday Evening Post

The Four Freedoms series was made for reproduction in The Saturday Evening Post in 1943 during the height of World War II. The theme was derived from the 1941 State of the Union Address by United States President Franklin Roosevelt delivered to the 77th United States Congress on January 6, 1941. The first Freedom painting published was Freedom of Speech, which appeared in the February 20, 1943. The Series continued with Freedom to Worship (February 27), Freedom from Want (March 6) and concluded with Freedom from Fear on March 13, 1943.

Starred Marilyn Monroe and Tom Ewell, The Seven Year Itch (1955) contains one of the most iconic images of the 20th century: Marilyn Monroe standing on a subway grate as her dress is blown above her knees by a passing train. The film was listed at number 51 on the American Film Institute's list of the top 100 American comedy films of the past 100 years. Tom Ewell won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
